Rhubarb Bread

Rhubarb Bread
Combine 1½ cups brown sugar, 2/3 cup oil, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon soda, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 3 cups flour, 1½ cups rhubarb, cut fine, ½ cup chopped nuts and 1 cup buttermilk.
Put batter in two loaf pans. Sprinkle tops with mixture of 1/3 cup white sugar and 1 tablespoon butter.
Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees.
