substitutions


Apple pie spice

Subsitute: 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon plus 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg, 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice and dash ground cloves or ginger

Subsitute: 5 Tbsp paprika, 1/4 cup salt, 1 cup garlic powder, 2 tbsp dried oregano, 2 tbsp thyme, 2 tbsp onion powder, 2 tbsp ground pepper, 2 tbsp ground red pepper(cayenne). blend together, store in tightly sealed container in cool dark place for up to 6 months.
