Revitalizing CDs -- "To restore a CD with minor scratches, dip the end of a dishtowel in water and dab a bit of toothpaste on the tip. Rub the playing surface of the CD with the toothpaste gently in circles to work out the scratches. Clean off the toothpaste with the damp towel and you're good to go!"
