Recipe Exchange

I receive these recipes in a recipe exchange


Beer Cheese Dip
(use pretzels to dip)
1 8 oz. tub of cream cheese
1 packet of hidden valley ranch dressing
1 beer of your choice
Shredded cheddar cheese - as much as you want
Mix with mixer cream cheese, ranch dressing mix & slowly add beer. Toss in shredded cream cheese, chill 2 hrs before serving

Death by Chocolate

1 brownie mix
1 container cool whip (Large size)
2 chocolate mousse mixes
1 package Heath bits

Bake brownie mix as directed. Crumble half of the brownies in bowl.
Make one box of
Chocolate mousse and layer on top of crumbled brownies. Layer half of
the cool whip next
and sprinkle with half of the Heath bits. Repeat with second layer of
each ingredient.


Chicken Caesar Wraps
Prepare packaged Caesar salad mix and toss with some cooked chopped
chicken. Add more
Parmesan cheese along with sliced mushrooms and roll up in heated
tortillas or soft pita
bread
folds.

Simple Quick Artichoke Dip
1 tub of low fat chive and onion cream cheese
1 14 oz can of artichokes
1/4 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese
1 clove garlic
Sprinkling of grated Parmesan cheese
Chop garlic and artichokes. Mix all the ingredients together well.
Spread onto
microwavable 9in pie plate. Microwave 1.5 minutes or until heated
through. Serve with
Triscuts, Wheat Thins or garlic bread.

Summer Pasta Salad
1 oz. Box of Penne, Bowtie, Corkscrew or Vermicelli Pasta
1 Red Onion - (If you do not like Red Onions, you can substitute 3
green onions)
1 Bunch of Asparagus (Broccoli would work too)
1 Cucumber
10 Cherry Tomatoes
1 16 oz Bottle of Italian Dressing
1 Bottle of Salad Supreme seasoning
Parmesan Cheese to top
Cook Pasta using the directions on the box. Once it is done, place in
strainer and let
it cool.
Cook asparagus for 3-5 minutes until they are cooked but crisp.
Remove from boiling
water and place into a bowl of ice water to stop cooking.

Chop cucumber, tomatoes and onions into fairly small chunks.
Mix Pasta and vegetable chunks together in a large bowl. Add whole
bottle of Salad
Supreme Seasoning and whole bottle of Italian Dressing. Mix well.

Refrigerate until cool. Serve with the option of putting shredded
Parmesan Cheese on
top.

Stuffed French Toast
1 # Vienna bread, cube and leave crust on
8 OZ. cream cheese, cubed
12 eggs
1/2 cup real maple syrup
2 cups milk

Put 1/2 cubed bread in 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
Drop cubed cream cheese all over and add other 1/2 of the bread.
Beat together eggs, milk and syrup. Pour over pan, cover with foil and
leave in frig
overnight.
Bake at 350 for 1/2 hour with foil on and 1/2 hour without.
Serve with a BIG bowl of powdered sugared whipped cream and fresh
strawberries.
Slice strawberries, add 2 T sugar and let sit in frig overnight also.
It is good for a brunch with a group of people.


Broccoli Salad
Dressing:
1 Cup mayonnaise, 1/2 Cup sugar, 2 teaspoons vinegar
Salad:
1 bunch broccoli, cut in small pieces
2/3 Cup raisins
1 Cup salted, shelled sunflower seeds
10 strips of bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
1 small red onion
Mix salad ingredients together. Mix dressing ingredients
well. Toss salad and dressing together 1 hour before
serving. Serves 4 to 6.


Buffalo Chicken Dip
1# boneless/skinless chicken
Put in fry pan with water, cover and boil for 10 minutes, till done.
Cool chicken and then pull apart with a fork.

Drain the water and put the chicken back in fry pan.
Add 6TBL Frank’s Hot Sauce
1 8oz package of Cream Cheese, cut in chunks
½ cup Ranch Dressing or Blue Cheese dressing
¼ cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
Mix all ingredients together and put in baking dish and top with ¼
cup shredded cheese.
Bake at 375 for about 15 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
Serve with crackers.....and hopefully your favorite cocktail!!!!



Bacon Roll Ups

½ c sour cream
½ tsp onion salt
½ lb bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 (8 oz) pkg crescent rolls separated

Mix the top 3 ingredients; spread on rolls and roll up. Place on
baking sheet.
Bake 12 – 15 minutes at 375˚.

Chow Mien:
1 lb hamburger
1 onion, chopped
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup uncooked minute rice
2 cups water
1 can chicken rice soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 small can of mushrooms
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 can peas, optional
Brown hamburger, onion and celery. Add rest of ingredients. Bake in
greased casserole
(9 X 13) for 1 hour at 350. Serve with chow mien noodles.

Shredded Beef:
4-6 lbs rump or bottom roast
1 package beef onion soup mix
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 cup water 2 cloves garlic, crushed or chopped
Put in crockpot for about 8 hours. Shred with two forks out of
crockpot.
Magical Peanut butter cookies
1 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter 1 egg
1 1/3 c sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
preheat oven 350. Pam a cookie sheet. combine peanut butter, egg, 1 cup of sugar and vanilla. Roll dough into balls. Put on cookie sheet, crisscross with a fork and sprinkle with remaining sugar. bake for 12 minutes.
